Sandra M. Smith, 65, of Bingen, died Saturday, August 23, 2008 at her residence. She is the wife of Walter A. Smith.

Born in Cementon on August 14, 1943, she is the daughter of the late Rober G. and Lillian R. (Ritter) Snyder. Sandy retired in 2003 as Supervisor of Transportation at the Saucon Valley School District, Hellertown and previously drove School Bus.

Survivors: Daughters: Tracey A. Walter at home, Robyn L. wife of Gregory Matz of Macungie; brother: Robert E. Snyder; step sons: Walter A. Smith III of Hackensack, NJ, William E. Smith of Macungie, Michael A. Smith of Allentown; grandchildren: Taylor K. Walter, Jeremy D. Matz; Step Grandchildren: Amber Smith, Jayme Smith, Cassandra Smith, Alex Smith.

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 10 - 11 a.m. Thursday, August 28, 2008 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street - Hellertown with services at 11:00 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Bingen Sunrise Memorial Cemetery, Bingen.
