President, Class of 1957

Bruce Frassinelli    08-25-2008

I was saddened to learn of ``Teena's" death. The Class of 1957 held its 50th-year reunion in 2007, but because of her and her son's health she was unable to join us.
She was a vivacious teen-ager who always pitched in to help class projects succeed.
One of my most prominent remembrances was her outstanding performance as director of the girls' band during our Harmony Scholars Class Night presentation. She was an accomplished trombonist, and this musical ability brought verve and sparkle to that special performance.

Please accept my condolances on the passing of Helen. I have many fond meemories of her during our school years. She was a capable leader of the brass section of the high school band. Her sense of humor was evident to all her friends and she could keep the "Cool Cats" laughing at all of our slumber parties. My thoughts are with you at this time.
Sincerely, Gretel Malkin
