Rebecca Roy    09-25-2008

Dear Rebecca, Monica and Anita,
I was shocked when my father told me that your father died.
I got to know him when he visited us in Germany (my father Biswa-Priya Roy (Babu) is his cousin) and enjoyed being around him very much.
When I travelled to the US in 1996 I visited your parents in Bethlehem, Monica in Atlanta and Rebecca in Seattle (maybe you remember me...).
I always thought I might be able to visit "Uncle Bokon" again, but now it is too late.
I am very proud of having had him as an uncle. He was so intelligent, with deep thoughts and a warm heart. And he was a mathematician (like me)!
I will keep him in best memory.
I am so sorry for all of you that you have lost your parents in just about a year. I hope you had enough time to say Good Bye. It must be a hard time for you now. I send my best wishes to all of you.
I would appreciate it if we could keep in touch, at least if we had an adress of each other.

I am also to pass on to you condolence from my father Biswa-Priya (Babu), my mother Anneliese, my sisters Myriam and Monica and my brother Robin, who are all very sad about what happened.
All the best, with love

Rebecca
