Maryann (Rieger) Doklan, 71, of Hellertown, died Thursday, July 10, 2008 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. She is the wife of Frank Doklan, Jr.

Born in Spring Valley, Lehigh County, PA on June 1, 1937, she is the daughter of the late William C. and Irene A. (Lorish) Rieger. Maryann worked as the Assistant Secretary at Christ Lutheran Church, Hellertown where she is a member, and prior to that she was a Secretary at the Hotel Bethlehem.

Survivors: In addition to her loving husband of 48 years; Sons: ( 2) Frank Doklan, III of Hellertown, Mark Doklan of Hellertown; Grandchildren: (3) Paul, Justin and Jenna

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 10-11 a.m. Monday, July 14th, 2008, followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. at the Christ Lutheran Church, 69 Main Street, Hellertown. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorials to American Diabetes Association, 501 North 17th Street, Suite 212, Allentown, PA 18104.

You were the most kind and thoughtful person I have ever met. You always put your family first.I thank you for that and loving my children, always being there for them.
