Sandra A. (Strauss) Cederberg, 71, of Schnecksville, formerly of Raritan, New Jersey, died Sunday, June 29, 2008, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, after a courageous battle with cancer. She is the wife of the late Walter L. Cederberg who died in 2005. Born in Allentown on September 24, 1936, she is the daughter of the late Charles R. & Sally E. (Beitler) Strauss and step-daughter of the late Albert Tomsic. In addition to being a loving wife and mother, she worked as an Inspector for Johnson & Johnson Ethicon, in Raritan, for 17 years before retiring in 1996. Sandra attended Hope Community Church, Fogelsville. In addition to her children, the loves of her life where her nine grandchildren. Sandra cherished each moment, from watching them achieve their academic successes, to the numerous sporting events, which they participated in. In addition to being an avid sports fan, she loved the outdoors and was a member of the Dome Roamers Camping Club in Harrisburg. She also enjoyed the sights and sounds of Atlantic City, New Jersey. Sandra was a member of the Schnecksville Senior Citizens. She loved all animals, especially her two beloved Shih Tzu's, Peaches & Brandy. Survivors: Daughters, Cheryl A. wife of David R. Oswald of Lower Macungie, Donna J. Cederberg and her companion Bruce L. Norris of Flemington, New Jersey; Sons Larry C. and his wife Kathleen S. of Annandale, New Jersey, Gary S. and his wife Deborah A. of Schnecksville; Brother Roy Strauss of Allentown; Sisters, Kathryn Therian of Kuhnsville, Mary Tomsic of Lewisberry, Grandchildren, Ashley, Larry Jr., Ryan, Kristy, Katelyn, Derek, Michael, Chad & Randy; Nieces & Nephews. Funeral Service: 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2008 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville. Call 6:30 - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday in the funeral home and 9:00 - 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 2nd. Entombment will follow the calling period Wednesday in the Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge, New Jersey.
