Beverly Takach, 78 years, of Bethlehem, died Saturday, June 28, 2008, in the St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. She is the wife of Robert J. Takach. The couple celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary last June 4th.

Born in Fountain Hill on August 20, 1929, she is the daughter of the late Frank & Hilda (Gilley) Fischl. She worked as a Secretary for Arbor Fence Company, in Bethlehem, for 40 years before retiring in 1995. She was a member of East Hills Moravian Church, Bethlehem.

Survivors: in addition to her loving husband; sons Robert D. and his wife Susan of Fountain Hill, Joseph and his wife Paige of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Frank of Bethlehem; Brother David Fischl of Bethlehem; Sister Bernice Gougher of Lubbock, Texas; 3 Grandchildren, Dennis, Kerry and Kaleia; 2 Great Grandchildren, Aiden and Ryan. Predeceased Brothers Frank and Conrad Fischl.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2008 in the East Hills Moravian Church, 1830 Butztown Road, Bethlehem. No calling hours. Interment will be private. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown, PA is in charge of arrangements.
