

![]() Barry L. Gross, 51, of Freemansburg, died Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. Barry fought a courageous battle after waiting for a second lung transplant. He had a great 13 years of life after his first transplant that will always remain close to everyone’s heart. He is the husband of Judy L. (Schmidt) Gross. Born in Fountain Hill on October 16, 1956, he is the son of the late Norman A. Gross Sr. and Ruth A. (Sigley) Gross. Barry worked as a laborer for the former Bethlehem Steel and most recently as a painter for various companies in the Lehigh Valley area. Survivors: In addition to loving wife of 28 years, children; Jason A. Cruz, Stacey M. Gross, and Tia E. Gross all of Bethlehem; brother: William F. and companion Laura Raymond of Bethlehem Twp.; 6 Grandchildren and a Great Granddaughter. Predeceased by a brother: Norman A. Gross, Jr. and a sister: Ruthann Gross Rhoades. Services: Family and friends are invited to call 11:00 a.m.- 12 Noon Friday, June 13th, 2008, followed by the services at 12 noon at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street - Hellertown. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Gross Family for funeral expenses, care of the funeral home, 18055.
