Frederica (Uhler) Lake, 98, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Hellertown, died Saturday, May 31, 2008 at Clarewood House, where she had been residing. She is the wife of the late John N. Lake, Jr.

Born in Easton, on June 9, 1909, Frederica was the daughter of the late Frederick R. and Helen M. (Keller) Uhler. She worked in the Alumni Office of Lehigh University, Bethlehem, for 18 years before retiring in 1968. She was a former member of Christ's Church United Church of Christ in Bethlehem.

Survivors: Daughters: Rosemary L. Charles and her husband Billy of Houston, Texas and Cynthia L. Wild and her husband Edward of Stafford, Virginia; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.

Services: Family and friends are invited to a visitation period from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2008 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown followed by a graveside service at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
