I just learned of Richard Fogel's passing through the Internet. My mother was his half sister, and I knew him as "Uncle Dick." When my mother ran into him, she would call him her "Baby Brother." She was a small woman, weighting less than 100 pounds! He called her "Bully." My mother and I lived with Uncle Dick and his family when I was a teenager after my parents divorced. I was Rich and Bill's big brother for about a year and a half. Among other things, Uncle Dick took me to my first baseball game--the Phillies and Cincinnati. I still have the foul ball I got from that game on my desk, so I haven't forgotten and have fond memories of my Uncle Dick. He was a good man. My sincere condolences to his family.
