Elmer Horvath, Sr., 82, of Williams Twp., died Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at Easton Hospital, Wilson Borough. He is the husband of Joyce Mae (Troxell) Horvath. Born in Bethlehem on September 18, 1925, he is the son of the late Steven and Barbara (Holetz) Horvath. Elmer worked at the Blast Furnace of the Bethlehem Steel for 37 years until retiring in 1979. He served his country honorably during WWII in the US Army Engineers. Survivors: In addition to his wife of 59 years; daughters: Donna M. wife of William A. Berstresser of Lower Saucon Twp., Nancy L. Vaccaro and her fiance Joseph Romeo of Williams Twp.; sons: Steven R. and his wife Rosemarie of Hellertown, Elmer Jr. and his wife Leneta R. of Wilson Borough; 12 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren. Predeceased by: brothers, Steven, Rudolph, Ernest, John and a sister Helen Rosko and a grandson Eric S. Grube.
