Dorothy F. (Eldridge) Schneider, 78, of Bethlehem, formerly of Flemington, New Jersey, died Friday, May 2, 2008, at the home of her daughter Darlene.

Born on February 24, 1930, in West Decatur, PA, she is the daughter of the late Frances & Martha B. (Harris) Eldridge. She was a homemaker. Dorothy was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Flemington, New Jersey, where is served as Past Worthy Matron.

Survivors: Daughters, Darlene L. wife of Robert Ellis of Lower Saucon Twp., Diane M. wife of Keith Beyer of Flemington, NJ, Gail Louise Schneider of Bethlehem; Son Frank E.A. Schneider III of Flemington, NJ; Step Daughter Barbara wife of Bill Cody of West Hills, California; Brothers, John Eldridge and his wife Sheri, and Dan Eldridge; Sisters, Lillian DuBois and Maxine wife of Julius Sauchelli, all of Florida; 7 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; Daughter-in-law Lynne U. Schneider of Flemington, NJ. Predeceased in death by sister Louise Ruesh.
