Lillian A. “Tootie” (Snyder) Mantz, 79, of Cedarbrook - Allentown, formerly of Slatington, died Sunday, April 20, 2008 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Clair F. “Tiny” Mantz.

Born in Lehigh Township on September 11, 1928, Lillian was the daughter of the late Walter and Anna (Heckman) Snyder. She was a member of Morgenland Union Church, Orefield; a former member of the Women of the Moose, Slatington Lodge.

Survivors: Daughters, Patricia A. Fritz and her husband Clifford of Bath, Paulette F. Gerhart and her husband Bradford of Allentown, Barbara L. Hunsicker and her husband David of Germansville, Ruth R. Miller and her husband Lee of New Tripoli, Brenda L. Bougher and her husband David of Orefield; son, David G. Mantz of Slatington; sister, Vera Hofmann of Florida; 16 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; predeceased son, Dennis F. Mantz who died in 1973.

Services: Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2008 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. Sally D. Zelker officiating. Family and friends may call 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at St. John's Church Cemetery, Laurys Station.
