Patrick Joseph McCormick, age 90, of Allentown PA, died Monday, October 15, 2007 at the home of his Son, Patrick J. McCormick II, Villanova PA. He was the husband of the late Mary (Dean) McCormick.

Born in Throop, Lackawanna County PA, June 27, 1917, Joe was the son of the late John D. and Margaret (Manley) McCormick. He was employed as a Representative for Prudential in the Lehigh Valley for 36 years, retiring in 1978. He faithfully and honorably served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Joe was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown PA.

He is survived by his Daughter, Maureen A. Miller of Allentown PA; Son, Patrick J. McCormick II and his wife Marie of Villanova PA; Brother, John McCormick and his wife Louise of Bethlehem PA; Sister, Rosemary McCormick of Blakely PA; Dear Friend and Companion, Irene Flynn of Scranton PA; Grandchildren, Rochelle M. Marcks, Kimberly A. Clarida, Packy J. McCormick, Meghan M. McCormick and Daniel A. McCormick; Great Grandchildren, Justin and Jennifer Clarida and Chase and Trent Marcks.

A Mass of a Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am. Friday, October 19, 2007 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexor Avenue, Allentown PA with the Reverend Christopher S. Butera as Celebrant. Family and Friends may call 8:30 - 10:00 am. Friday in the Church. Interment will follow the service at Cathedral Cemetery in Scranton PA. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Schnecksville PA.
