Alberta J. (Everett) Roth, age 72, of Orefield PA, died Wednesday, March 7, 2007 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown PA. She was the wife of Robert H. Roth. The couple celebrated their 46th Wedding Anniversary last September 24.

Born in Allentown PA, December 26, 1934, Alberta was the daughter of the late William A. and Ruth (Ihrie) Everett. After graduating from Parkland High School in 1952 and the former Allentown Hospital School of Nursing in 1955, Alberta began her Nursing career at Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center NY. Later, moving back to the Lehigh Valley, she worked in the Operating Room and Pediatric Department of the former Allentown General Hospital. She then became a Lehigh County Public Health Nurse. After her children had grown, she worked part-time at the former Allentown Osteopathic Hospital. Alberta later became the Night Supervisor at Cedarbrook - Allentown for 17 years before retiring.

She is survived by her Husband; Sons, Tracy S. Roth of Orefield PA and William J. Roth at home; and Sister, Shelby Will and her husband Otto of Virginia. She is predeceased in death by her Sister, Marjorie Falk.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am. Wednesday, March 14, 2007 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA with the Reverend Michael J. Bodnyk officiating. Family and friends may call 7:00 - 8:30 pm. Tuesday in the Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Egypt Cemetery, Whitehall PA.
