Mildred M. (Schaller) Anthony, age 86, of Whitehall PA, formerly of Mauch Chunk Road, Allentown PA, died Saturday, July 1, 2006 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township PA. She was the wife of the late Delbert A. Anthony.

Born in Lenhartsville PA, Mildred was the daughter of the late George J. and Mabel E. (Frey) Schaller. She was employed as a Sewing Machine Operator at the former Blossom Mfg., Allentown PA and the former Better Made Mfg., Effort PA before retiring. Mildred was a Member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall PA. She was also a Member of the Daughters of America, Council # 179, New Tripoli since 1945.

She is survived by her Children, Delores M. Christman of Kunkletown PA, Carl P. Anthony and his wife Phyllis of Seaside Heights NJ, Elwood A. Anthony and his wife Patricia of Kent WA and Marion M. Cole and her husband Ronald of Allentown PA; Brothers, Ernest J. Schaller of Whitehall PA, Luther J. Schaller of Coplay PA, Willis J. Schaller of Phoenix AZ, Arlan P. Schaller of Rehoboth Beach DE and Kermit W. Schaller of Loveland CO; Sisters, Hattie E. Smith of Emmaus PA, Gladys I. Schaller and Esther S. Kelly, both of Allentown PA, Erma I. Rothenberger of East Longmeadow MA and Viola R. Bartholomew of Florida; 5 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandsons. She is predeceased in death by her Brother, Melvin G. Schaller and Sister, Grace S. Sweigert.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2006 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA with the Reverend Michael J. Bodnyk officiating. Family and Friends may Call 12:30 p.m. - 1:50 p.m. Thursday in the Funeral Home. A Daughters of America Service will take place at 1:50 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Ebenezer Church Cemetery, New Tripoli PA.
