James D. Anderson, age 67, of Orefield PA, formerly of Liberty Street, Allentown PA, died Wednesday, July 20, 2005 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Jean E. (Mann) Anderson. The couple celebrated their 46th Wedding Anniversary last August.

Born in Providence RI, James was the son of the late Harold and Astrid (Solonam) Anderson. He worked as a Line Technician for the City of Allentown before retiring. Prior to that, he was employed in the Quality Control Department of Prior Coated Metals in Allentown. He honorably and faithfully served his country in the United States Navy during a peacetime era.

He is survived by his Wife; Son, Michael J. Anderson of Bath PA and Andrew M. Anderson and his wife Terri of Allentown PA; Daughters, Julie E. Michaels and her husband Frederick of Pottstown PA, Mary L. Mouzakis and her husband Hercules of Allentown PA and Jean M. Anderson of Allentown PA; Brother, Harold Anderson, Jr. of Providence RI; Sisters, Thelma McGuirl of Saunderstown RI, Mary Kanis of Warwick RI, Linda Mann of Cranston RI, Nancy Anderson of Pittsburgh PA and Maggie Wright of Providence RI; 11 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. He is predeceased in death by Sisters, Shirley Spreder and Vera Anderson.

Memorial Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2005 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA. There are no Calling Hours.
