Linda K. (Hagenbuch) Houck, age 61, of Palmerton PA, died Sunday, November 13, 2005 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown PA. She was the wife of the late James W. Houck, 2004.
Born in Pittsburgh PA, Linda was the daughter of Margaret A. (Lewis) Hagenbuch of Allentown PA and the late Jay P. Hagenbuch. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse employed as the Lehigh Valley Family Health Center, Allentown for the last 6 years. Prior to that, she worked at the Lehigh Valley Hospital for 24 years. A dedicated Health Care Professional, Linda will be sorely missed by her Family, Friends and Colleagues.
She is survived by her Mother; Son, Terry B. Houck and his wife Katie of Little Rock AR and Sister, Sondra V. Mertz, wife of Mel Mertz of Schnecksville PA.
Memorial services will be held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2005 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA with the Reverend Dr. Robert C. Santucci officiating. There are no Calling Hours.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lehigh Valley Hospice c/o the Funeral Home, PO Box 196, chnecksville PA 18078-0196.

As a current patient of Lehigh Valley Family Health Center for past 5 yrs., I was truly blessed by all Linda's kindness & support always during each visit there! Since 2000, Linda was more to me than just an LPN, she became a close friend by always providing happy thoughts into my day! She always remained positive by her concern of any situation faced, she was always strong-willed as I do remember her quite well! Linda was much dedicated to her daily duties of assisting patients & each visit she expressed such warmth to me! I am actually yet to envision the office there without her physically upon future visits ahead, but I already am aware that her presence forever will be known floor-to-floor by all those whom appreciated much the lovable spirit Linda indeed was within lives of many around her as I definitely will never forget all her guidance & love!!!
