Walter Gazjuk, age 85 of Allentown PA, formerly of Northampton PA, died Friday, September 1, 2006 in his home. He was the husband of Regina (Omuzinska) Gazjuk. The couple celebrated their 62nd Wedding Anniversary last February.

Born in Lodz, Ukraine, Walter was the son of the late Fedor and Tetyana (Serak) Gazjuk. He owned and operated the former Gazjuk Sunoco Gas Station, Whitehall PA where he was also an Automobile Mechanic for many years before retiring. Walter was an avid fisherman. His life touched the hearts of many and he will be missed by all who loved and cared for him.

He is survived by his Wife; Son, Albert S. Gazjuk and his wife Lynn of Charlotte NC; Brother, Boris Gazjuk of Kiev, Ukraine; Grandchildren, C. David Gazjuk and his wife Nichole, Jeremy P. Gazjuk and his wife Stacy and Heather E. Sheppard and her husband Jeffrey, all of Charlotte NC; 5 Great Grandchildren and one on the way.

A memorial service will take place in Charlotte NC at a later date. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Schnecksville PA.
